Speen Queen buyer for a long time although don't have to purchase very often!! I bought one of their first digital display/control washers and was concerned about the life of electronic devices like displays. It is around 8 years old and runs and looks like new. So for my home down south I bought a new TR7 and it looks just as heavy duty/quality look and performs well. Very quiet and easy to set up controls for your wash requirements.

I have had my new Speed Queen TR700 for a few months. It took me a little while to get used to it but I am extremely happy I found this brand. I chose the TR700 because I wanted a very gentle cycle to be able to wash delicates. This one has it. I went to Youtube and was able to watch videos of the two different machines. There are many videos on how each cycle runs and I was able to see the delicate cycle in action. The TR500's delicate cycle was not slow enough for what I wanted. I am thinking of getting the dryer too. I bought mine at brandsmart and have had no issues. Really hoping it last for as long as they claim. I use the autofill option most of the time. Love how it determines the ideal level of water. Also love that I can fill it to the rim. This company should make a bigger drum for large families. The size may be a deterrent for large families. I am able to wash my Queen size comforter with no problems and I have washed two pillows and some other items without an issue. Also, it really makes my clothes smell fresher. My only complaint is the lid lock. I hate it and it is a pain in my tush. The lid lock should only lock on spin cycle.

Bought the top dollar Washer with the best ratings and years of warranty. Let's see how it goes. So far it's almost too quiet even with the signal on the loudest setting. It washes well, is very sturdy, and I do love the thing. Bit hey, it's new... only time will tell.

I had to either fix or replace my 4 1/2 year old Maytag which was supposed to be a top of the line heavy duty machine - the gear case failed which appears to be a common failure and Maytag knows about it, but won't stand behind it. I had heard of Speed Queen so I started researching. It was nice to find out many of the parts in their commercial machines for commercial use and laundromats was also in the home consumer product. From the first load of laundry, I could tell immediately that the Speed Queen machine was a much more solid, well built machine that my Maytag. It was worth the extra money. I can also tell that my clothes are coming out cleaner. And can't beat that this model comes with a seven year parts and labor warranty.

First, this washer is very easy to level since it has self-leveling rear legs. The Speed Queen washer has all the wash cycles I could use and washes clothes cleaner than my last washer. I also like that this washer is quiet and does not go off balance. It also comes with a seven-year parts and labor warranty.

Don't waste your time on anything else!! I've been through LG, GE, and Maytag. I loved my LG but it started making noises after 4 years pkus it smelled and yes I washed the washer monthly. GE, had for a few days....NOPE, no water. Maytag lasted 2 years, but we hated it from the get go!! No water washed the clothes. They thought the clothes swishing around against eachother was good enough, NOPE. Speed queen, my son (11 yo) even noticed his clothes smelled so much better. Speed queen uses water to clean the clothes. What a concept, What a difference!!

Adjusting to a top loader after 25 years of a front loader. Lots of bells and whistles to figure out and cycles to learn what is best . A little loud at different points in the wash cycle which is so much louder than my 25 year whirlpool was. Too early to tell if its doing a good job. Im expecting great things. I was in the market for a new washing machine; I was not happy with my old washer which would rarely finish a load of laundry without me having to resort the clothes. I did everything I could to fix the other washer even upgrading the suspension rods. It was better for a bit but not great. So, when we went into the market for a new washer (my husband was tired of me saying 'I hate that washer" when I heard the familiar bumping when it was off balance), we decided on the Speed Queen due to the reviews. I've had the washer for a few months now and I am not disappointed! The washer is so quiet and I have never had to re-sort the clothes because of balancing issues. Now while I have zero regrets about getting this washer, I will say that I wish they had larger drum options for people like me who like to do all their laundry on one day. Also, I would not say that this washer cleans better than any other washer I have ever owned but the wash cycles are also shorter. Overall Value: The price point is a bit more than any other washer brand on the market. That being said, I have ZERO regrets about paying the higher price. It is shocking how quiet this washer is when it is in wash and spin cycle. The wash cycles are also shorter than any other machine I have used; I remember the first load in my washer - it was shocking how fast the machine worked and that I didn't hear a single bit of noise. I didn't even realize when the cycle ended. Overall, it can be daunting to buy a new washer especially when the price is so much more than the other washers out there - but once you do one load of worry-free laundry and the machine does what it is supposed to do without any interference from you - that peace of mind is so worth it!

Purchased a brand new TR7003BN. It has been throwing breakers, fault codes, and nothing but issues since purchase. We currently have it hooked up via a heavy duty appliance extension cord do a GFCI outlet so that it reduces the number of trips per load until customer service (it's been weeks) gets a resolution. They dispatched someone to check it out, ruled the appliance is faulty, but no resolution still.

I would like someone to call me. Called with concerns regarding the agitator. Was told they can't put everything on the sticker on the machine. I would think when you purchase the Cadillac it would do everything and then some. It just swiches the water doesn't really agitate move back/forth

After dealing with a greasy film on the barrel of the washer, things have gone really well. We had done an initial wipe out of the barrel before running any water as the instructions indicated. But after that was done and we did the initial load, there was more of the film that we had originally. A firm wiping with cleaning vinegar seems to have resolved it. Since then, everything had been just great!!

My Speedqueen experience started about 8 years ago with the front loader which I love. Not one service call. So when I put in my second laundry area off my kitchen I decided to get the top of the line top loader tr7 in black. I love it just as much. It is extremely gentle on clothes regardless of cycle used, and there are plenty to choose from. Since this is the tr 7 which is not the classic version which utilizes a more aggressive wash. If washing very dirty or stained laundry it it probably best to add the soak option for best results. It is extremely quiet and like the front loader built like a tank. If you select hot wash you get hot water not warm unless using the eco cycles which I don't recommend. 5 stars for sure!
